No trip to the Mayflower Hotel would be complete without our friend and concierge Azi. She’s been such a sweetheart heart to us on each of our trips.

Washington DC Trip
On our final day, we choose to eat at a highly recommended Italian Restaurant called Filomena Ristorante. The food was superb. Kathryn had Chicken Marsala and I have Lasagna Bologna. Both dishes were outstanding. The ambience of the ristorante was that of an old fashioned Italian Ristorante. We finished up Lunch/Dinner with dessert. Kathryn had the Fruit Cheesecake and I had the Filomena Eclair.
Washington DC Trip - Day Five
On our final day in DC, we decided to do a tour of the Hillsworth House. We were both a little disappointed in it and it was a bit ostentatious for the two of us.
Washington DC Trip - Day Four Evening
We decided on doing the glass top open air night tour of the Washington DC monuments. It was a great tour. Our bus driver Tyrone was a blast. Our tour guide Noam was a wealth of knowledge. He’s only been in the DC area for about a year and is originally from Toronto, CA.
